My lift ram leaks fluid pretty steadly. What is the seal called that I am looking for to replace? Is it a simple seal to replace. If its down in the bore, how do you get the seal out?

So I just checked the lift ramp is pitted and probably should be replaced. How do you remove the ram?

Remove the lift bracket, remove nut, pull out.

well that is easy enough, I had thought that something was traping it in the bore. so the nut and seal is basically the only thing holding it in from over traveling out?
