I am switching my plow lights and I can not get one of the assemblies off the plow. I think the bolt on the inside of the assembly is stripped and there is no way to get to it. Is easier for my to cut the bolt off or is there another way?

Either use vise-grips to hold the bottom of the bolt while you work the nut or you have to cut it off.

Take a cut off wheel and make a slit in the bottom of the bolt. Then take a flat head screw driver, hold the bolt and spin the nut.
Or go to parts store and but a nut splitter.
