    Hey guys what is the difference between a oil pressure gauge switch and a oil pressure light switch thanks

    A gauge sensor (switch) is variable resistance to function the needle over the complete sweep of a gauge. A switch is just on or off, such as used for an idiot light.

    oil pressure on ford truck are set when there are 7 psi or higher. When it below 7 psi light will come on dashboard.
