oil cooler seal on a diesel!!

    anyone ever blow one . i did tonite an boy did it make a mess. noticed it before it did any damage . but its a big mess to clean up . anyone have anytricks to get those seals seated properly. the seals are at each end of the tube an i think they are o-rings. if anyone has any tips on doing this procedure properly please let me know thanks again george an its on a 90 ford f250 diesel 7.3 thanks george

    I had one blow on my '85 6.9 at my Ford mechanics house with less than 1K miles on the new motor. Needless to say, he got stuck not only repairing it, but cleaning up the mess on his driveway. May that 6.9 rest in peace now!
