Hey guys, on my '99 2500 (K series), I am getting a groaning noise from my steering wheel when I turn it. It seems to happen at low speeds only. Also, The shifter seems to be getting harder and harder to shift. I will attempt to fix it myself, Hopefully a little white lithium grease in the right spot will do the trick, but before I start taking the steering colunm apart, I wanted to know if anyone else had run across this type of thing.

Give your power steering pump a good look over, then the steering box itself. I'll bet you eliminate the groaning noise without touching the steering column.
