No more paper maps

    Here is a refreshingly and economical idea from the good folk at Spatial Matters.

    Use GPS and a phone or tablet to manage route completion at the source. On dark nights or during heavy snow conditions use the AndSnow application to see where to turn and where you've treated. Color coded route sections combined with GPS bread crumbs paint a picture of completion status. The map supports many more zoom levels than the one below.

    There's nothing wrong with paper maps. They never need to be charged....

    Why waste $10 on something I don't need or want???? Btw, I get my paper maps for free.....
