I have just noticed (go figure had this truck since it was new) that it has no front coils for its suspension. it never occurred to me that this was its setup. how do i beef this up to handle a 500# plow anyone? :help: Thanks in advance

So there's shocks and no springs? I find this hard to believe. Can you post a pic?

2001 f150 2 wheel drive has coil over and 4X4 use torsion bars on the front end.

Jeez, a little slow are we?:D

You can crank your torson bars but the truck will ride stiff. Call 4WheelParts and have them order you a set of 2" torson keys and you will be fine.

    t-bar's

i would be careful about stressing these older t-bar's ,had to replace a set already both broke at the same time .try timbren load booster's first
