I have a 2004 F350 Dually mason dump does anyone know if I will have problems plowing ? should I buy a salter for the back? People tell me If I drop a couple of tons of topsoil or get a salter for the back I should be ok but no one is for sure Id rather put my quad and snowblower in the back for paths and walkways if possible

You can plow with a 2wd but it needs a lot of weight on the rear axle. It also depends on what type of plowing you will be doing. I have plowed parking lots just fine with 2wd but when it comes to slow speed plowing (no momentum) or stacking snow, a 4x4 is better. IMO

Do a search on the subject, it's posted many times a year about 2x2 plowing.
