I live about 15min from oceanport. I can haul to anybody in PA DE NJ 23ton at a time. So if you call and they are backed up with trucking i can haul it for you. But it will not be for oceanports rates. There rates are so low i dont even know how they get guys to haul it. If oceanport is 10/ton to haul it i would want 14/ton. Know what i mean.

It should not be a surprise that contract hauling can make up for low rates with volume work. Lots of guys would rather guarantee work at a low rate to make payments than chance it at a higher rate. Those that can make it happen at higher rates probably are working smarter not harder.Something most people do not know how to do. Now you two shake hands and make up.

I have no problems at all. Like i said if he can get trucks on the cheap more power to him. I mean thats what a smart business does.

I will say oceanport has some of the best rates around as far as the salt goes. and to the customer their hauling rates are great too lol.

Advertising is not client stealing. Client stealing is one of your employees leaving to work for someone else and taking your client list with them. Another company soliciting your clients is pure business. Just so long as they are not doing it outside your office.

Good, I really wouldn't deal with a company that would be so quick to deny a customer service over a misunderstanding. Hope there is no bad blood between the two of you now.
