Nice having no equipment problems today. Actually had an incident-free plow day with the old Meyers E-47. 4" of packing snow, sunday (ie. no rush to get the industrials done), mild and sunny to melt the lots right down to black, daytime plow in under 6hrs after actually being able to sleep all night. NICE. Hope everyone else's plowing went well.
----------
Dave in S.Ontario
Things went pretty well in maine too. We got about 8 or 9" of snow, the lots went great because we plowed them last night. Only the residentals really sucked had to go slow and try not to tear up anything. The end result was we got the job done, only pushing 8" of wet snow was hard on the trucks, only after 2 or 3 hours of rain it got a lot easier to plow.
Didn't need much sand only during the storm on the roads and the lots that were open when we plowed.
Geoff

Well here in Detroit its been snow free for a month. 3 or 4 inches 2 or 3 times a month would be great. Its been a poor season. Well there is always next year.
