On a NH 180 skid steer is the high flow option a must to run a snow blower? Local dealer has an off lease machine at a reasonable price. Looking to run blower but not sure if it will be okay w/o the high flow option.

Yea im pretty sure you need high flow when u want to run anything that spins fast such has a snowblower or a stump grinder.

It will depend on the blower you get. Some are set up for standard flow, but the better ones are high flow. High flow's a must for truck loading.

Is the high flow an option that can be added to an existing machine or is a factory only installed option?

If a dealer installed option a ballpark estimate would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

It's usually only economical as a factory installed option, on my machine it was $3000. I don't know if the dealers can install it, but you can be sure it will be EXPENSIVE!
