Hey guys. I'm new to the site and the wife let me pick up a truck to plow with last week. I installed a new cutting edge and a deflector today and thought I'd post a couple of pics. I hope this works.

OH.....and it's a 2003 silverado with a Rancho lift kit and 5.3 liter. It has a 7 1/2 foot western pro plow with ultramount. I'm wondering if I should trim the excess off the tops of the rubber on the bottom of the pro wings?

Dont trim the rubber. once one side wears down you can flip the rubber and use the other side. THat is what I do and it works out perfect and saves you money. truck looks great.

I actually went out and turned them so there is now a wider rubber footprint on the ground now and they aren't as high.

I had an old chevy with a boss v plow 4 years ago and I ended up selling it. I think I put more money into that truck and plow than I made plowing. I told her a couple weeks ago that I wanted a truck just for plowing and she said "go ahead". I came home with this a couple days later! It will double as a play toy in the summer too. I got a pretty good deal and it only has 50,000 miles.

It was never really beat on either. It was a lease turn in in 2004 and the dealer kept it, put the lift kit on and just used it to plow their lot and do parts runs. I also got a full 3 year chevy warranty!!!

I'm assuming "Doo" is short for ski doo. What do you ride?
