Here are some pics of my new wideout that was installed yesterday. I also installed Timbrens and turned up the torsion bars for support. I have to say that Western has really improved their plows. This thing moves extremely fast and is very easy to put on and take off. It is a very heavy plow though. I purchased it from Equiptment Specialist Inc.. for $5275 plus $175 shipping. Cost $400 to install so total was $5850, which saved me about $800 vs. buying it directly from my dealer.

That plow looks awesome. Glad to hear the guys at Equipment Specialist hooked you up since I plan to buy from them as soon as I need another plow.

I went back and forth between the Boss V-XT and the Wideout. I owned a Blizzard 810 about five years ago and I liked the application, so I stuck with it. I can already see the improvements that Western has made on this plow since aquiring Blizzard.

all red, love it. I have a wideout also, you will want a rubber snow flap on the top.

You'll love the time that thing saves you in several different applications. I wouldn't trade mine for the world. Nice looking setup.

Pushin...yer pushin it! GM stands for GENERAL Motors (not private, corporal, or Sgt. but GENERAL)...where, the last time I heard, Ford stood for found someplace dead??? In any case, no matter what truck it's on (as long as it's heavy duty) is a heck of a unit!

That is a sweet looking rig! And the price was good too. I was quoted almost $7'000 for one installed so I bought another straight blade and added wings to it for this year. Just couldn't't swing that expense but had I been quoted numbers like yours I would have one on my 3500 chevy right now. I will have one next year if I have to sell a kidney! :D

Yep...I just didn't want to say it completely and have all of the ford folks really jump my case! You said it for me and I appreciate it!!
