Well, I sold the 91 and 96 F150s and the 81 Bronco all in one week. I still had the white 95 and I planned on keeping it and getting another truck so I could still have my other driver working. I went out and looked at a few trucks and almost bought an 02 GMC with the Duramax and 7.5' Unimount, but the guy wouldn't budge from $13k and the truck was beat and had 143k miles. Anyway, I called a few people and talked to one guy with a Dodge, but he'd just sold the truck. He told me that the new owners couldn't use it because it was too tall and he gave me their number. I called and headed out. I got there and took it for a spin, and when I got back, the son of the guy comes running out and says, "Are you Pat with the Broncos for sale?" One thing led to another and we worked out a trade deal. Dodge was last on the list, but the deal was right...

I know that it's just another truck to most people, but I'm really excited about this one. It's so nice compared to the others I've had this year. This is also the First Boss plow I've owned and it seems nice and fast. The joystick is huge and the controls are backward, but I'll get used to it.

The truck had company lettering all over it. I spent a few hours in the driveway with a blowdryer peeling the stickers off the doors, but I brought the tailgate inside before my feet froze.

I also picked up another new toy this weekend. I'd had my eye on this thing for months and it was always $460. We decided to head to the mall on Monday an hour before they closed and I was walking around Sears while she was getting a message. I checked the welders as I always do and was dissapointed to see that this one wasn't set up anymore and almost walked away when I noticed a box on the bottom shelf... It was a brand new one in the box HALF OFF! $229 and I couldn't pass it up. I've never had a welder before and I've always wanted one.

Thanks! There's no real rust on the truck that I've found yet. I see one spot under the driver's side window that isn't a big deal, but nothing else. It has some dings and scratches that just add character. It's MUCH nicer than any of the trucks I've had in the past few years. The trans seems fine so far. I need to get used to the way a Dodge shifts after driving Fords for so long though. I've driven it around town and on the highway and everything seems good.

The dog is a mutt. He's over a year old and full grown, but looks like a puppy. He has some yellow lab in him and some sort of shepherd. He's a genius, which is good and bad. We can't keep him confined anywhere because he'll get out (cage, rooms, etc.).

Nice dog, if I'm ever in Naperville and remember you having him I might have to come dognap him. He looks way more entertaining then our choc. lab and 2 mexi dogs.

Edit, does your insurance or the dmv think your running a car lot out of your driveway?? lol

You could probably take the dog and he'd find his way home. He loves his mommy... I'd like to get a chihuahua some day. I really like those dogs.

My insurance guy is about my age (26) and laughs about it. I'm a little worried about the secretary of state considering the number of vehicles I go through in a year. I just get bored and want something else. This doesn't even include motorcycles...

Yeah, I'm looking forward to this new truck, now it just needs to snow... Of course, as with all my trucks, it looks better in the pics than it does in person. I didn't WANT to sell any of the Broncos, but it was the only way I could afford to have one newer, nicer truck. I also got my insurance bill and made the decision that night to sell everything and get one that could do it all. I still have a car and two motorcycles to pay for, too.

The same kind of thing happened with the drums. I had a good sized collection of drum stuff building up, but most of it wasn't what I wanted. I sold a bunch of stuff and bought one decent kit. It's a Gretsch Renown Maple that doesn't leave the house. I still have an old Ludwig Rocker all-maple kit and a Donoho Maple (little company out of Nashville) and some other random snares floating around, but the collection is manageable these days.

The dog is a mutt. He has some yellow lab in him and some shepherd of some sort. He's full grown.

Hey Ryan, how's the 95? You said you'd send picks...? I'm already trying to trade this staright setup for a V.

The 95 is great. I accually have it up forsale right now. Had I known you were looking for something I would of sold it to ya. Honestly had no complanits against it, I just don't use it at all. I put pry 2 thousand miles on in since I bought it from you. Haven't done anything to it really. standyby for a email. What size vee you looking for? I also have mine forsale. 8'2''. I want to upgrade to a XT VEE. I would trade ya if I had a use for it but I don't.

Sweet new truck. Sounds like you got a pretty good deal. I think that body style is pretty cool. What do you think of the boss? Like it more than the Unimounts? just curious.
