Welcome to the business.... Nice set - up. I do business in NY a lot and see a ton of Western plows between Utica and Rochester. Must be a good dealer network...

Take it easy on the equipment and the equipment will take it easy on your wallet. This is a great website for ideas - very knowledgeable guys on here willing to share.

I see that your eyes are as good as mine. I think it's a Western plow.

ya auctually that western was originally on the front of my uncles dodge with a hemi. so all my friends are busting my chops that the chevy wont be able to push it. so ive been paitently waiting for the white stuff to show them up.

    Polaris,

Did you do anything to the front suspension on the truck? Just wondering how it handles the plow. I have a 2000 GMC 1500 Z71 and am looking to put the same set up on for this winter.

Kollerman, so far the only thing i have done to the truck is cranked the torsion bars just about all of the way. I would reccomend investing in some timberns for your truck. mine squats considerbly when i raise the plow so i would say timbrens, crank torsion bars, and weight in the back.
