new to me 9 foot plow

    just picked up a 9 foot i think everst plow just put it on my flatbed poly blade 2 inch pistons what do u think

    why? what was wrong with the fisher 9 foot blade?

    and is that a trip edge blade? i dont see any springs.

    I think that uses torsion springs for a trip edge.

    nothing wrong with the fisher at all just picked this up for a deal yes it is trip edge torsion springs

    its different. i like it. i'm guessing you havent plowed with it yet, but how does it compare to the fisher in terms of its build?

    a frame is built better bigger steel ribs are thicker i think its alot stronger than a fisher

    it is 28 inches tall and i think fisher is 29 about the same

    That A-Frame doesn't look very heavy duty....I bet it is, but it doesn't look it.

    its 2.5 x 2.5 tube 1/4 inch wall 1 1/4 center pin

    Seems kinda weak in the frame area. I don't know, maybe its just me.

    I've used an Everest 9' plow. The plows actually handle great, I didn't have any problems. I have had problems with Fisher, though. If I was to buy a new truck (1-ton or 3/4 ton), I'd get an Everest plow system. They have a nice heavy duty plow hitch, as well.

    thank you seems to work good fast up but slower angle cause it has 2 1/2 x 16 angle pistons

    Did you add fluid to compensate for the larger volume?

    i drained and filled the pistons and lines with new trans fluid it does not require any more fluid than a normal fisher

    Congrats on the new plow, those are great plows, they do awsome scraping.. Hopefully we get more snow soon so you can use it..
