I've heard that the new style edges w/curb guard won't fit the older Boss V. Is this true and if so why won't it fit.

It's true they will not fit... but wait I'm going to put a set on today anyway!! lol:waving:

There is a pic on here some where, someone already did it .
You will need to grind down the center section a little to allow for the center hinge. It sits lower on the RTII.

Can you still find edges with 1/2 inch holes?
There all 5/8 holes now art they? You need to drill out you old plow.
I haven't found edges with the 1/2 inch holes in them for a few years now..
The 1/2 inchers were prone to breaking.

mojob Anybody know where that picture is?

It will be on my camera in the next day or two.
    I'll post them soon,

A few cut of wheels and a grinder and you too can run the new edges on your old RTII.

    No proublem.

It is a pre-puck plow also so triming the moldboard/plow was/is not an option to make them fit.

Iv noticed on the new vxt hinge tower is more exposed to obsticles and abuse.More protruding forward past cutting edge by about 1/2 '', Concerned ...thinking about pad welds on center of edge enough not to interfere w/ scoop position.

I was told the 9.2 hi perf hard ox / Ar450 edges were $200 plus each.
    Not sure on shorter ones.
    Thanks,
