Here are some pics of my new 2012 Ram 3500 SRW 4x4 diesel.

It has the 8' Snow Dogg HD plow with the 2' wings and a TRG07 10 Ft. Salter with Vibrator.

I went over to Severna Power and turf in Arnold MD for the install. They did a great job.

Looks good! With the wings folded back how much room is there between the plow and truck?

Im not sure how much room there is, enough that it wont hit the trucks bumper.

I like it! Looks nice, good luck with it. That spreader is huge though off the bumper. What made you chose that over a small V-Box or one in the bed? (just wondering for future)

I went with this salter b/c of the price. The dealer had this one in stock and gave me a great price. I felt why not get the largest hitch spreader I could. They don't sell bulk salt anywhere near me, and even if they did I'd have no where to store it and no way to load it as all of my equipment is out pushing snow when needed.

now I keep pallet of salt in my shop and load one into each truck before we go out.

I can fully understand that reason! Not a bad idea in your situation either. I will be looking into getting a spreader later and never thought of that.

does anyone understand what randombob said?

You should put box extentions on the wings. Nicwe truck it is very pretty. I have a dodge but it has box extentions on my plow

I do like how the wings arent straight off the side, they do angle in a bit. Ill take a pic and post it.

I like the swing away wings BUT If you plow w/out them and wear you steel edge down and then swing them back on you will see your Steel edge wont be on the ground and your plow will skip till the rubber wears even with the steel edge

I have a Pro + western has wings found out long time ago Never plow with out them on
