    Hi,
I am new to this sno way plow stuff. I had an older fisher on an old ford that finally went to the great junk yard in the sky. I dont usually invest to much in plows i have a long private right of way that is not well maintained so i usually buy good running trucks with working plows that are not road worthy to do the job. I thought way back when i would be able to put this old plow from the ford on a 97 ram 1500 i bought. However after being informed it was not going to happen in this life time i set out to find a new plow. I was origianally looking at used fisher minute mounts however i found this snow way plow in good working condition for just 250 dollars on ebay. ( i know its ebay but it works and its fine) The problem i have now is finding the mounts to mount it on my 97 dodge Ram 1500 short bed. I have looked at the specs for the newer mounts snoway has but they look different. any suggestions. I will try and post a link to a picture of the plow so thoes of you who can look and figure out the model might have a better idea. The plow at the moment is still in NY i will be picking it up on tuesday.

Looks like the old three pin mount. You are also missing the light tower and lights. I think you can still get the old subframe and nose piece from snoway. Maybe not. someone on here will tell you.

you need a 99100465 mount. Snoway nolonger has them in stock but a couple dealers are showing them. I will check but can not do it till Monday when they open.

    Thanks,
Somone is listing one one EBAY for about 600.00 plus shipping. I would atleast like to know if thats a resonable price if no one else has one. The guy i bought this off had it working and demo'd it for me so i know its a good system that works. He originally had it on a ram 1500 also however he changed it over to a chevy a few years back and didnt have the frame mounts

i am not to worried about the lights at the moment. The truck i am putting it on is ultimately not going to be registered. I just use it to plow myself out of my road. I live on a private road with three houses out here. we all keep the road plowed and sanded. I will worry about lights after i get the ploiw up and running snow is comming.

$600 is about what your going to pay from a dealer. if the seller knows the availablity he probably won't change his price.

this mount also works. It's not as nice a fit but if you can not find the 0465 one of these would work, There could be a couple of these still out there also. They require the 99103002 which I do have in stock

Basher did you say you could locate the mounts for me? The one i thought i was going to get is now no longer on ebay. I guess the you snooze you loose thing applies. I was waiting untill i actually had the plow in hand before i bought it.

    Thanks

That mount is no where to be had. Watch ebay and the site for a used one is you best bet.
