Cardoctor, I talked to the guy who sold it to me and he said I can return it and he will see what meyer can do, but that is going to take a month and we will hopefully have snow in that time:realmad: , so I am going to return it and ask for a refund and go to Crest and buy a new one........ sh**y thing about is I have a perfectly working old style touchpad, but it's on Ebay:angry:

Does Meyer still make the two bump switches up/down and left/right? We have them on our oldest truck and have never had a problem with them, very simple and easy to use. I never have trusted touchpads.

they are discontinuing them after Jan 2004 but the aftermarket should still have them

If you have the new digital style touchpad make sure your orange wire on your harness is connected to the negative post of the battery or it will not work at all. The older touchpad would work without the ground but the lights on the pad would blink when operating.

Snowlane I just checked it and it works!! When I installed the plow last year, I couldn't figure out where that orange wire went, every thing worked without it, so I just tied it back. I really apprieciate your expertise, even the local meyers dealer didn't tell me that. Thanks again:drinkup:
