This is my first ever truck and my first plow. I've owned many tuner cars and a few luxury cars and just recently decided I wanted to add a truck to my lineup. I'm looking into reconditioning the plow by next winter so it looks new again.

Here's some pictures of my truck as it sat on the lot...

1997 Dodge Ram 2500 Crew Cab Short Bed
    5.9L V8 Magnum
    43k original miles
Tow Package, Plow Package, SLT Laramie package
1 owner, local farmer, same dealership I got it at sold it to the first owner 11 years ago and he traded it back in for a brand new 2500.

I'm removing the running boards, tail light covers and plow bracket today.

Put a new cutting edge on the plow and she will be ready to go. Make sure you drain the fluid and change it out. Some people leave it in for years and they wonder why there meyer pump take a SH#$ on them. good luck with the new find....

Thanks. Got the running boards off today, looks much better. Also dropped the plow but there is a ton of bolts holding the plow's frame work onto the truck's frame.

I might add, changing fluid on that pump EVERY season is a MUST!
I've had 2, e60's and both have had issues with moisture in the fluid.

it might not be a bad idea to keep those running boards on the truck, it seems to help prevent the rust underneath the doors. (common dodge thing) anyway nice truck and good luck with itussmileyflag
