Have you checked the fluid level?
Does the lift ram move up without the plow on?
Have you chenged the fluid ?
Is this in the shop or outside if outside what is the temp?
Did you just replace the coils or did you replace the valve also? visual verification How did you see inside the valve?
We just need some basics to get started ....

I am having the same problem with my E47. Can you push the valve in and out with your hand when removed from coil?

the valves are visually seen moving by lookin in bottom of valve. the ram does lift by itself with no load on it. outside bout 28 degrees im thinking the down valve

OK here is a pic of the power unit the coils are item 28 and 31. The valves are item 30 and 27. You have to mean you have pulled the valve and pushed on the ball or took the valve apart. The coil makes a magnetic field to raise the valve to let the oil flow. You can take a small screw driver to the top of the coil when energized to see if you have the magnetic field or hear for the click. To start if it is the seal on the lift ram items 4,12,11. There are better pics but its just the first one i found on file.

go it to go up, but now it wont stay up...

    Hello,

So we did get the e47 to stay up finally!!! It was the down valve.

(for those wondering about the visual check) What you do is take your valve out place back into the coil ground the coil to the pump to actuate it. have someone else actuate the valve from inside while you visually look into the bottom of the valve. the ball should move...

My problem is now it won't stay up! Do they make viagra for meyer plows? What is wrong now. Anyone else have this problem before?

Beginning think this meyer plow might have been a smart investment.

Let me know what you think.. The plow angles left and right and goes up... but won't stay up.

I have changed the a coil and valve, the b coil and cleaned both b and c valve...

    Thanks,
    Mike
