I would like to put a Boss 10' V, but i'm wondering if it's a little too much truck. I'm open to suggestions.

Ha, good eye-need to grab the torch and get it fixed, hopefully this week-I wouldn't want it rolling over granny while getting milk and eggs. :dizzy:

Nice looking Topkick. I have never seen many 7500s with a crew cab.

lol. Well, the wife is 8 weeks with our 2nd and she said we needed a bigger vehicle.......I don't think this is what she had in mind. I will update as we get her up fitted (the truck that is).

We have some apartments that have long access drives and this unit would be a windrow-wing machine! Also have small industrial sites (4 acres or so) and everything in between.

I'm thinking with the crew cab it may carry a sidewalk crew also. Plow Man Foster gave me a great idea- a side lift gate to load/unload snow blowers-I will see how much room is left behind the Vbox.

Thanks, The crew cab is the first thing that caught my eye. Should come in handy.

I just saw one of these on youtube. It was a reg cab with a dually box on it. It had the cat diesel engine with 300K miles on it.

He must have a big family too! lol. So here is a list of what the truck needs: Rocker panels need to be sand blasted (rust) , cab-body-bed-wheels will get paint (white cab), Vbox with pre wet & Plow, side lift gate, lights on bed and wig wags, Company logo/DOT #, rust proofing.

Hope this doesnt crush your dreams too much but for a Boss plow you're gonna have to take off that (IMO) ugly front bumper. Back to the "normal" frame. I think the only other option you have (if you want to keep your bumper on) Is to get a municipal plow

In the end it will look like this: (Boss Plow)

The big bumper is def an eye sore-and yes it's coming off- the guys at the shop confirmed that it would be a pita trying to fab it up so that the plow can raise/lower. I'm thinking I will try to sell the winch.......not sure if I can find a buyer though.
