    Hey folks,

I just put a Fleetsaver Flashing light on my back rack. I must say I am very disappointed with how dim it is. I had an old style on before and a was much brighter. I wired to have a single flash. If I wire it to have quad flash will it be brighter?

    Thanks

You will be getting more flashes per minute so in theory it should. But if not throw it off to the side and buy a name brand warning light.

Wrong. You'll just be getting the same dim light output more times per minute than before. It will not be brighter.

Any suggestions on what type of strobe or light bar to buy? I would like one that will mount to my back rack, I would still like to have it wired to my cargo light for convenience. Brighter the better

How much would you like to spend? And remember, asking what the best light is can be a lot like asking who the most beautiful woman in the world is.

If you're willing to invest in a good quality light that'll last, i'd go with a Whelen Responder or Feniex Cyclops. They're both great companies that manufacture in the USA. The Whelen responder can be purchased in a duo model if you need. (I.e. Firefighter and snowplower? Blue and amber is the most common duo available) However, you're talking a good $350 for a single color model, and $600 + for a duo. Hope this helps.
