Nice, no that's my wife's (Sgt) company car (Greenwood Police) she has a take home car. I think she pulls it up like that because the plow is in her spot and she doesn't want me to forget it. LOL

Making good progress, more soon. Lots of drilling so far........a little touch up paint and assembly...........stay tuned.

    New wing cutting edges

I purchased a used set of Boss wings w/hardware but with one surprise. I am replacing the cutting edge on the super duty so I must replace the cutting edge on the wings.

The surprise was they were $ 200. with tax and freight.:dizzy:

    More to come shortly

This pic is of the backs of the wing cutting edges, old on top and new on bottom.

hey, how do you like the wings? i am unsure on the ruggedness of them. also does it leave a small snow trail through the cracks or vibrate at all?

and what is the cutting edge made of?

    thanks, jeff

Ill be doing the exact same thing in the near future (if only my commmercials would pay me for last month)

How hard are the wings to remove? they wont work for doing my residentials.

Looks great, was gonna wait till summer to do mine but after seeing this I dont think I can wait.

They are extremely rugged. They are three times the wings as those cheap pro wings.

The wings are very simple to remove. Pull a spring tensioned pin back, rotate the wing back towards the truck a little bit and slide out away from plow. No hardware to lose. The only down side is they are on the heavy side but oh well.

I never used my pro wings on residential cause they won't cut edges and back dragging was affected by them. But....I leave the Boss wings on when I do my driveways. They cut edges like you won't believe, and the rubbers are much stiffer and they back drag just as well. If I were you I'd try driveways with them on and see.
