I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Heavy Duty with Timbrens. I currently have been using an older 7.5 ft. Sno Pro 3000 with no problems. I am looking at purchasing new and am torn between the 7.5 ft heavy duty trip edge or the 8 ft full trip poly.

The 8 ft. poly weighs only 13 lbs. more than the 7.5 ft. trip edge plow. What are your thoughts on the 8 footer on my Dodge? Anyone have these and could give me any pros and cons, would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks!

    Chris

If your trucks a half ton its far from "heavy duty" Stick with the 7.5 footer on a 1500 unless you are really itching to replace the trans.
