Hey...congrats. Sounds like a great plow. Boss makes some good products, from what I've read on these boards.

Have fun, and make lots of money.

Are you guys relying on these plows showing up for your biz? ie: Got an old blade currently on and able to cover in case of a snow event, say, tonight?

I'm freaking out because I haven't got the wiring finished on the second truck yet, let alone waiting a third of the way thru December for the blade to show up...

Had my first salting event last night... got to try out the Flink! Haven't had to plow yet because our temperatures have been so unstable and the accumulation has been minimal. This upcoming week they are predicting temps back up to 12 above freezing... and I'm still worried.

    Maybe its just me? :dizzy:

    Well Guys
As most of you know I have a new truck this year with a new Boss 8' 6'' Straight blade. Well we had a small snow fall and had to salt more than anything, but what the heck thought I would give the new Boss a trail run. Lessons learned.
1- The Boss is not as easy to hook up as my Curtis, should get easier over time though.
2- Never leave your controller power up while driving, one little bump and that blade is moving.(yes it happen as I was driving down the street)
3- I like the fact that there is not a chain on the lift cylinder, no more bouncing plow as you drive down the street.:redbounce
4-I also like the fact that you can lower the blade softly not dropping like a rock.
5-The handheld controller is way to touchy IMOP, hope to get use to that.
6- Overall I am happy with the plow just have to get use to it.
7- Im also happy that we had a little piddly snow to try the new plow out.

    Regards Mike
