need some help

    hey i have an older westen cable type pump

    its leaking fluid around the base of the motor...is there a gasket that ican replace of will some silicon do it?

    They do make a gasket, but I've always used silicone and had no problems.

    well thats good for future references but it was my mistake of not paying attention and not tightening the fill plug :sleeping:

    whats your method of changing fluid?

    Drain the fluid using the drain plug, pull the motor and check for shavings and remove any extra fluid...
