Does anyone know where i can get bag salt for my trucks? The company i was dealing with close up. I tried grain of salt and they only sell it in bulk. I'm located in Michigan. Newageinc@msn.com

    magic salt

Maybe I am missing something but I called and got bagged price on magic salt.
    Pallet of 48=2400 lbs= $432.00
    Thats about $400.00 per ton.
Is there a better route ?
I can't handle bulk yet because I have no bucket loader.

Ripple, are you confusing Magic Salt and regular salt? Big, big difference. The price you were quoted works out to $9 per 50# bag. You would use about 1/3 the Magic Salt compared to regular salt and much better results.

    confused

    Hey Mick...
I donno much about magic salt(except from what I have read here) but it seems real pricey and I don't think my clients will care what I spread as long as the ice is melted and the driveways/parking lots/ sidewalks are not slippery!

The price on Magic tends to vary quite a bit from area to area...
