I'm looking to buy a used Meyer 7.5' plow and would like to know what the difference is between a E-Z and MDII? One better than the other?

I'd also like to know approximately how much a mount & harness would cost me for my Dodge 2500? I called my local places but they are closed today.

    Thanks,

    Tom

the easy mount is a pain in the ars plus it hangs reel low to the ground
the md 2 has a better pump the touch pad instead of the stick and all tou have to do is pull up to the plow release four pins providing the holes are lined up and connect the power and your plow is on four pins and disconnect power and plow is off

    Thanks for the info..

I just went to look at one listed on ebay. It's the MDII located in Westminster. The first thing I noticed was a bend/twist in the cross-member of the A frame. The main pin would not line up and go in the hole. The seller said he didn't notice it. C'mon? I know nothing about plows at all and noticed it right away! Other than that it looks good.

Anyway.. he said he would have it fixed and wants $2000 for it. I would still need to buy the truck mount and light wiring. So where are we... $2500?

$2000 seems to be about the going rate on ebay. Where are the good deals?

If your ok with spending 2500 for a used plow. email or pm me and I will give you a dealer I used in md. for a western new installed for only 3200. If your set on a Myer I bet there new price is around what a Western is.

    7.5 ST90, Brand new on-line, $2787.34 + shipping.

Just the mount for your truck (EZ mount) $533.08. Comes with under carriage mount, battery cables, solenoid, control harness, Touch pad controller.

You still would need the lift frame, $273.85

Lights are extra, $139.95 old style, hard wired

$219.00 new style, (adapter kneed, even more dough)

Don't have the info for the MDII

Add it all up and go with the best deal. You will still have to mount the thing yourself (you can do it. We can walk you through the tough stuff)

    Good Luck

PS. We run several Dodge 2500s. Work great
