First off I don't understand why you would need so much equipment, but I guess some guys just like to show off

A shovel and little drop spreader should be just plenty to get the job done.

You need to provide bid specs. Is pricing per day(hourly wont apply, unless you put wings on your plow), per push, per storm, or per season? Do you have a spreader?

Have you talked to your insurance provider?

Have you thought about a small tractor to assist... Maybe a 35hp. Kubota? 6 ft. plow. Then you'd have it licked.

He already said he has a a JD Tractor for the walks. I'm guessing it's a lawn tractor from the depot. Would you add the Kubota too? Wow! Cab, or earmuffs for the operator?

Only if you run someone over, or they slip and sue you. Otherwise it just cuts into the profits.

If you're a pretty good driver I wouldn't worry about it too much.

This is a no brainer ~ you'll never get the job.......you're over qualified.
