I have all the wiring installed and on my 2010 2500 Chevy. The controller light comes on. The lights work with the truck (inside and outside) I went to see if the plow works and when i connected the plow the ground wire started to burn. (it is connected to the battery ground) Have any ideas on how to fix it?

    Thanks

    1) Poor/loose/incorrect connections on any of the power cables including at the bumper connector and motor relay.
    2) Both power and ground cables not connected directly to the battery terminals.
    3) Cables on plow side connected backward.
    4) Shorted pump motor.
    5) Defective motor relay
