Can a 2000 ( new style) Chevy 2500 hold a Meyer cp7.5 (poly plow) without trashing the truck? These trucks seem low to the ground, and that a heavy plow? I have a 06 with this exact same setup but the truck is higher and the torsion bar had to be adjusted. Thanks for help!

There's a couple guys on here that are running bigger plows than that on non-HD 2500's- crank up the bars a LITTLE, and maybe some timbrens and you're all set.

That truck can hold ANY MANUFACTURER'S 7.6 foot plow no problem.

that truck can hold an 8.5 some guys even run 9 footers on 2500 hds. imo a 7.5 is alittle small for a full sized truck. either get wings for it or a bigger blade. it will hold the plow just fine. crank the bars alittle and run plenty of ballast youll be fine
