Hey guys attached are a few picks of a salter i got with an older municipal dump. What is it and how much is it worth? It's a little too crazy for parking lots i think so i will probably clean it up and sell it.

The tailgate replacement spreader probably isn't really worth much - mild steel and specific tailgate height - it'll spread salt though. If you're putting a spreader on or replacing that one, the hoses have value.

The value is in the controller, hard to believe a municipality would spend that money on that system with no pre wet - I wish I had there money.

PM sent, let me know where in Ontario

if it works it may be worth using to control salt costs, better than guessing how much you are putting down
