I've search the site but could not find an answer. I have an E47 Meyer pump on my truck and need to remove it. Problem is the lower mounting bolt is stuck. Probably galvanic reaction holding the bolt. I have used a sledge hammer with no results. Any tips on how to remove it?

Little bit o heat, and an impact, or breaker bar

Is the nut stuck or is the bolt stuck in the bottom of the pump housing?

That's what I was thinking but needed to ask since the pump is aluminum. Thanks!

It is the bolt that is stuck.

I would heat like SS said then put an impact gun on the bolt. Beating on it may snap the mount off.

Thanks for all the advice!! Some heat and the impact worked very well. Got the E57 hooked up but I just need to change the oil.

Don't forget to flush the rams.

Got everything done! Oil changed, rams flushed, anti-seize on the pump bolts. Plow moves a lot faster than with the E47. :D

    Thanks again!
