We washed our trucks yesterday and now when the power cable is attached to the plow the pump motor runs continuously. I don't know where to start to check what is making the motor run. The controller can lift and angle the plow just fine.

Probably the solenoid under the hood

It's likely the motor relay. It's mounted on the plow motor, under the plastic covers on an Extreme V. Disconnect the plow side battery cable from the truck. Remove the plastic covers on the plow to access the motor relay. Disconnect the two small wires from the relay and re-connect the plow battery cable to the truck. If the motor runs, you need a new motor relay. If not, you've got a control, control harness, or plow module issue.

It was the motor relay. Just a coincidence that we washed the truck. The relay was dry but decided to get stuck. All fixed $28.

Be sure you got the updated motor relay for the multiplex systems,it looks the same but has a different cycle rating
