Does anyone know if those new Western back edges they sell are any good. They look pretty weak from the pictures on the internet. Or is there anyone that sells a better back edge out there. For a 7 foot Pro Plow.

I do not have one, but I have heard good things about them. The only bad thing I have heard was that you may want to change the front edge at the same time so they wear evenly. Next front edge I buy I will get a back edge for my Western pro.

I have the back drag edge on my pro plow. You HAVE to either put it on a new plow or replace the cutting edge when you install it or it wont work at all.
It was easy to install and i think it works better than having no back drag edge. You dont get all the snow but i think it definately made a difference.
If id had more time i would have made a hinged one.Theres been alot of talk about those in the past week or so so look back in the threads for it.

I think a simple hinged design that woudl be easily removable if damaged, would be tge best way to go, plus it won't have any affect on the forward scraping of the plow.
