I picked up a an 87 F250 5.8 to plow with this year and almost have it ready.

I just out a brand new 850cc Battery in it, but still has the stock Alternator( I think 65amp).

It has an 8' Western Pro plow with standard light setup and the Mark iii pump.

I still have a battery light coming on here and there and the Alt tests at 14.5 amps at idle.

Problem: When I hook the plow up and lift it, my voltage guage drops to like 8 :(

The plow is also not going left, right, up and down that well..Do I need a better Alternator??

What local parts store will carry that and is there any modification to it?
