need advice on plow

    hello merry x mas

    i have a 2000 gmc 2500 and i am buying a western unimount plow that came off a 1999 Chevy 3500 that i want to put on my truck
    i have a guy here that is going to help me put it on my truck and i just want to make sure i am doing it right

    he said it will fit but we have to buy brackets to fit from western and we need to do some welding i just want to know if i can just buy brackets that will fit alone with wiring or do i have to modify things

    also i have air bags do i have to turn them off when i plow

    My listings show a different under carriage for each vehicle. Should only have to buy the back bracket. Don't weld to frame. it will weaken the frame. Wiring should be compatible,if not altered.
