We've all complained about national and regional snow contractors, but no one has done anything about it.

THIS THREAD IS FOR POSTING OF ANY CHAIN STORES USING ANY NATIONAL OR REGIONAL MAINTENANCE COMPANY.

Please post anything you know and how you know it so we can all use it to our advantage or avoid wasting our time... thank you.

    Here's what I know

    Lipinski
a lot of the Kohl's in the Mid atlantic and NE for at least snow if not landscape and lot maint
a number of Targets in the Mid atlantic and NE for some combo of snow/landscape/lot maint
also do a lot of work for Prologis in NJ and PA
Kinder Care in NJ and possibly in New England

    Dentco
still doing a few Kohls and Targets

    USM
had been doing a most of the Rite Aids/CVS in the Mid atlantic and NE
    doing most of the BOA's
I believe they are also doing the Wachovia's in the NE
Definitely handles most of the Best Buy locations

    Genesis
Still doing a few Kohl's aand Targets to my knowledge

    Divisions Inc
Doing a lo tof Kohls in the OH market at a minimum

    Symbiot
still doing a lot of business with Jones Lang LaSalle to my knowledge

There are also a large group of smaller regional GC's handling various other groups. Most Companies with a large regional or national portfolio don't use a single GC for all of their sites, not a good business practice! They will take advantage of the cost reductions associate to using a GC but won't allow one GC to "control" all their locations.

Symbiot is great to work for in my opinion. We do some empty fast food restraunts for them.

These national companies will hire any ding dong with a pick up to do huge lots. Point is, it seems as though they do no back ground/equipment varification. They don't know or even care what the guy they hire has for equipment.
I know this cause I was contacted to do the Kohl's a few years back. I told them I wasn't a heavy equipment company. They said no problem, just shoot them a number. I said no thanks. My buddy had the account for years prior to that. I seems like these bigger lots are subbed a few times before someone actually does it. Around here the big lots are getting done for peanuts.
