Oh I love my wings, this will be my third yr on them, I replaced the rubbers last yr tho. I have to say, it was the best $200 I've spent.

I started doing a large school parking lot back 3 yrs ago, and the guys I plowed with had wings on there 8' blades, so I give them a shot and fell in love!:) took a 5 hr push and turned it into 4 hrs. I guess with 9'6" your bound to do some damage! I can't wait to put my salted to use.....full time!

Just to add I was told by pretty much everybody that you can't install wings on a poly plow! I took the chance 3 yrs ago and still zero problems.

I'm debating adding wings to one of my plows... I don't really know if it would do me any good other than 2 small jobs. Gonna kick it around a while I guess.

Your equipment looks really nice and ready to go! Good thing your taking the topper off. Those are hard to plow with!

Brant, wings work amazing. I thought the same but since I got mine i'd never go back to not using them!

Thanks and yes brant I have been out twice this season just to salt, and boy was that a chore tryin to get salt out of the back with spreader on and you can't see much of anything other than with mirrors and my back up camera! But on the wings I really need to buy a back up pair for just in case.

    Thanks guys

I wanted to do bags for it but no money so I just bought and installed 1500lb air shocks ($80) and it made a big difference. Hoping for a newer rig and make it a 3/4 ton next yr.

Nice truck and setup. I have never owned a cap but, I can only imagine how much of a paine in the a$$ it would be to plow with one on.

I refuse to plow with a cap on my truck, I do construction in the summer so a cap is a must for me. I work out of my truck box and totes in the winter, thats if I do anything other than plowing and salting.
