I bought this truck earlier this year as a flatbed truck. I put an aluminum dump bed on it with fold down sides and used it for landscaping all year. I just now got it ready for winter with a new aluminum under tailgate spreader and a stainless MVP3.
It's definitely a land yacht but I'll be doing large shopping centers 95% of the time so it shouldn't really bother me much.
The plow measures 11' 4" with the wings, and the truck from the edge of the wing when straight to the spinner is 29' 6". Hahaha

Wow that's a beast. What's it weigh in at without sand on board?

Without the plow and spreader on it, with a full tank of fuel and me inside, it weighs exactly 11,500 lbs.
The plow is a tad over 1,000 and the spreader is a couple hundred.

Just leave parked in driveway, once event over, pull out.........

It will be the cleanest drive in town without even plowing.... LoL

I have the same plow set up on my pick up truck, you'll love it! My wings are on 2nd MVP3 already, 3rd season and are a lot better made then the old ones on the plus MVP's

Nice setup. The Ram 5500's are getting more popular with municipalities in my area. There are a few around with front plows and side wings.

I have a buddy looking to put a 9.6 mvp3 with wings on his f-450.
Does your wing tips touch the ground when you are in v mode or is there some clearance still? I have a boss vxt with wings and I have maybe 4-6 inches of clearance depending on how much salt I have.
If you could take a pic for me that would be greatly appreciated.

    Very nice truck!
