I finally upgraded to a V plow. I've ran them but never owned one yet. I was almost convinced that I was going to buy a Blizzard but after hearing some of the latest problems with them and the deal I got on this, I couldn't pass it up. It's a Boss 8.2 Poly V. Here's a few pics.

Very nice. How old is the plow and how much $$$ did it cost you?

did you keep the strait blade too? i know that you can hook them up to the same truck with just the switch of a remote. Thats one of the cool things about boss

You will be glad you went BOSS and did not get caught in the Blizzard. :waving:

    Looks like crap.

Just kidding man...looks pretty sweet. When did you get her? I have to agree with you on the 810...seems like the wings have a had a couple issues, but I guess all plows have a few pros & cons. I gotta say though...with that white truck a white plow would have looked good on it. You could plow in stealth mode, white snow, white truck, white plow, customers would wonder how their lot got done.

Looks good Boss, besides I'd have a hard time getting used to calling you "Blizzard". :D Good luck with it.

Hey BOSS, nice upgrade, I was told when I bought my straight blade to go "V" or go home, well I guess I kinda went home but with a straight blade. I'm looking forward to upgrading next year. You won't believe the time saving, which ='s payup

Very nice upgrade!!! Razorman & I were just talking about the need for at least 1 V-Plow in the fleet. I just wish I could use 1 of my straight blades!

you will be amazed how useful a v blade is. but you need snow to actually plow. :)

They were talking a big storm this weekend but it looks like it's going to be nothing as usual. The only thing I had to do to switch over was install a new wiring harness. Maybe I'll get to use it next year. :(

Hey BOSS that second pic would be a great avatar. Just crop it a little and shrink it of course.
