First thing I notice is one of the valves sticks up higher than the rest. you can see the block was not milled out as deep. Not sure if this is an issue or not.

Also, the screw holes that hold on the valve cover.... no threads... jsut decided not to tap them out i guess....

By comparison 2 on the New flowstat seem to be cut deeper then all 3 on the old flowstst

    Then send it back
Still don't see what the problem is.

    Might get snow Wednesday.

I was hoping that this might just be a design change. I find out Monday if it will work.

Is that with or without the down pressure modification?

3 tenths of snow this month. No money for fun projects

Oh, and the firing range bricks? That's still on hold?

2 to 10 ratio worked great
    .5 to 10 failed
Hoping 1 to 10 will do it. Just made tthose yesterday. Can't test till next week. Curing time.

Either way I can't build it till spring when it's warm enough for the bricks to cure outside

    And the ventilation system?
And didn't you say you "had" almost everything for the modification? Where's the update in how it's coming? Got all the parts gathered up? The schematics drawn up? The chain welded up yet?
Ya know,,,,,all the "little" details worked out

but i have some hydraulics already so would not need to buy as much of the system.

I have some of what I need

Mainly what I need is valving. I doubt it's gonna happen anytime soon. You are probably aware I had to get a job due to no snow.

I'm not planning on running it off the lift frame. Doesn't look strong enough to last. I'll be attempting to build a second frame off of the mount.

All be it not anytime soon

Oh. So again, pages of threads that will go nowhere. All for the sake of you needing attention. Nice!

I wouldnt say it went nowhere. I got lots of insight on how its been done and how i might be able to do it better. Unfortunately, the weather has sucked this year, and i cant spend the money to do it. but that does not mean its still not on the table. just, not right now. Im sure you are aware that I had to take a job working for someone else for the time being, it should be obvious that I cant afford it at the moment. partly because all of my bill money was spent on necessary repairs to my plows and trucks and not on unnecessary upgrades. wait? wasnt that the advice I was given, na, nevermind.

oh, also. 4x4 went out on my truck :D

I just got it together. I cant tell if its going to work till i get more fluid when the shop opens.
hopefully the valve placements is just a design issue and it actually works. noone seems to be able to confirm so ill find out when i hit the switch.

They only go in one way. cavity is too small for longer ones to go in.
