Well I took the bait so to speak. I Bought a 4K+ plow so whats another 50 bucks. I ordered PlowSlick and put a couple hours in to labor this morning. Pulling the skins, doing a light sanding, wipe down and coating took an hour and a half. I coated only the front side and most of not all the black iron. I didnt want the backside done, afraid of to much flash back from the strobes. Anyways, all the pics are taken with out flash.

Did you go over the sticker? Curious if that would make it stay on longer.

yeah I did. Its kind of a test, if plowslick seals as it cliams, the snow shouldn't peel it off.

Looks good. How much was left over after doing 1 plow or was it just enough?

It was more then enough to do both sides of the blade. I was really worried about running short, it is a 9'6". Once I did both wings, I started on the wing iron and work my way up to the headlights. Like as said before, I did not do the backside of the skins

Actually, that plow is so shiny that you could probably stop, take a break, and cook a hotdog on it. I actually saw it done on Man vs. Wild............

Looks GREAT ! You have a significant advantage of having a brand new plow to do that to, as older plows have to be cleaned and recleaned. Very nice job did you, young skywalker.

Did you do a couple of new snow shovels? or just throw that extra away?

Amazing how slippery the snow shovels are now, and I'm hoping not "too" slippery, as I won't be able to get the stuff on the shovel...

I want to use it on my snow blower.... not the one I have, but my next one. I'm going to disassemble it and do the inside of the chute, as well as the exterior of the blower.

That will teach those Ice clumps !

Plow looks great. Be sure and give some feedback after a few snow events. I know this is a little off topic but what strobes do you have?

I don't own a snow shovel, not one!

Whelen blubs, my pack is a nova 4 channel 90 watt. Its a non-regulated unit. I can run just front or rears or both. Its firing 22.5 where most are 15 watts. Its nice to kill the front when backdragging in strip malls, the reflection off the windows can be hard on the tired eyes!

I just order some more toys, when I get home next Friday, I'll share.
