Finished installing an 8.5 MVP Plus. Cutting edges were intially at their full outer adjustment. Loosened all fasteners and slid in and can only get the center gap closed to around 3/8" of an inch, not the 1/8" called for. Any suggestions? It's the stock 3/8" cutting edge.

I had that problem on the last set of cutting edges I got for my MVP plus. Actually the inner cutting edges didn't even have slotted holes, I had to take the torch and slot them myself. That works, but you should be fine with a 3/8" gap, that's what one of mine at work has.

What size cutting edge, 3/8" or 1/2" that didn't have the slotted holes? I don't believe my inner cutting edges have the slots.

The western replacement cutting edges for the mvp only come in 1/2"
