Wings are an available option for both the 8.5 ft and 9.5 ft models.

are the wings the same height as the flared part or the same as the standard wings found on existing mvps

The plows in general look cheap...i saw one in person and my thoughts are that the metal isnt thick enough....

can you elaborate on which part exactly is too thin?

What did you think of the new headset, what are the big differences?

I found that when I was at the SIMA show an the mvp3 was there I just found the gauge of the plow surface to be too thin for my taste. About the mount...I think it's awesome..too bad they are all trying to copy boss plows though.

Bought the new MVP 3 today and they do have wings Western Part #43510. Problem is that they have not started to manufacture them yet. (do not like that) and they do not have a date they will start.

I did get a diagram of them and they look great. They (say) they are as tall as the ends of the plow and have a new connection system that is superior to the old pro wings. They will slide in at the bottom and have a cam lock system for the top.

The bad the cost allot of $$$$$ I was quoted $690 for the set not installed. There is some installation you have to do not bad. So you can buy a Wide Out for less money. Here in the north when we get heavy lake effect you can beat the V plows.

Truckitup, thanks for the update. I will keep my eye open for them. I know you say they claim the wing will be as high as the plow ends but it sure doesn't look like it in the diaghram?? The MVP wings are $600. so what's another $90:dizzy:for these??

I'm getting mine next tuesday the 15th. I can't wait for the snow!!!

I spent about half hour checking it out and asking tons of questions.

A little nervious about upgrading from my pro plus because you know the more parts there are the more chance of something breaking.

I know my pro plus can handle anything and 3 feet of snow after nemo.

But I think it is beefed up enough to handle it.

The trip edge is something, no more sudden stops when catching that 1/4 inch manhole cover sticking out under the snow and someone took your marker and you forgot it was there.

It is taller than my pro plus on the sides at 38 inches.

And if the calulations on the western page are right, this is going to cut at least 2 hours off my plowing allowing me to pick up a a few more contracts.

I will post some pics after I get it.
