Are you guys coming in from the side of the back up light or the bottom? I'm assuming the side, but I want to make sure before I drill. Anybody have a pic?? Thanks in Advance.

looks like I'm going in from the side and I think I can go right dead center along with my backup light. I'm supposed to need an inch of depth and after a few measurements....I have just shy of an 1 1/4" before I hit the back up light so they should be just shy of 1/4" apart.

here's a couple pics. I'll be going into the side of the bottom housing and looks like I have about 7/8" of clearance between the housing and where the lens screws to the truck at the tailgate.
