mounting help

    hey guys
    i gotta put my plow on my bronco

    what grade bolts for the frame?:confused:

    I think western called for grade 5 I went with grade 8 I didn't see a reason to go with any thing less the $ I spent might save me broke parts later .

    yeh i was told 8 but i wasnt sure. id rather go better cause i dont wanna be the one in the parking lot with my plow on the ground haha

    I have this theory about using hardware stronger then whats called for.
    My theory is that if you should hit the plow into something that the bolts will shear before any real damage is done.

    im getting some negative feedback from the locals of having a cable operated plow because people say there dinosaurs and u cant get mounts anymore

    Got Ya

    Definetly Go With Grade 5, Grade 8's Are Too Hard And Can Snap With A Nice Jolt From Plowing, Go For Grade 5's, Never Had A Problem, 4 Trucks With Them For 5 Years Of Plowing Never A Problem
