First off -- thanks to everyone here who offered input on my earlier posts regarding Wranglers/CJ's and plows. I now have a great little rig for plowing my driveway and my neighbor's – who knows, maybe I’ll take on a few to help offset the cost. It's an '85 CJ-7 with a complete fiberglass body, hard top, straight-6, and 4 speed manual tranny. Yesterday I picked up a used 6.5 ft Fisher plow set-up (conventional/under-hood hydrolics) that came off a CJ-8.

The install of the plow rigging looks pretty straight forward – is there anything I need to look out for or be aware of? Any/all input is very much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jeff Pierce
